Wow! That went so well!

I just got back to ABQ, so all I want to do is crash right now. However, I'd like everyone to know that I'm going to keep managing the discussion group, so feel free to continue catching up with each other there.

There is a lot of discussion going on in the group, as folks let us know they are coming.

We're collecting donations for door prizes to add a little spice to the proceedings. I've brought some New Mexican chile as my contribution. (Literally adding spiciness! Sorry, silly joke there.)

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the fairgrounds tomorrow. The event starts at 7:00 pm.

Less than a week until the reunion

It looks like everything is coming together nicely. There are a lot recent posts on the discussion group. If you haven't told us you are coming, please do drop by and comment there. We need a count for the caterer.

I won't be updating for a day or so while I'm traveling, so behave yourselves until I return, okay? :)

Paying for the reunion

Pay for the reunion in advance online (or via check in the mail, I suppose, if there is interest) and save a few dollars, or wait and pay in person. Price includes buffet style dinner with choice of meats, vegetables, salad, roll and dessert.

$20 per person ($25 after Oct 4th)
$35 per couple ($40 after Oct 4th)



(The $400 figure is just a guess I made so we can have a progress bar. We can, of course, contribute more.)

Class list

Check this list of classmates and contact as many as you can about the reunion. Ideally, we'd have everyone online in the discussion group, but I'd settle for just having everyone accounted for. You can let us know about our offline classmates in this discussion group thread.

Paying in advance online?

Would anyone be interested in paying for the reunion online? I'll set something up if there is interest, but so go to the group and let me know.

Keep October 7 free. We have the Hendricks County Fairgrounds Auditorium that evening. I'll post more details as we get them.

Planning news from Drew

On the discussion group, Drew wrote:

"I am waiting for the Hendricks County Fairgrounds to get back with me. Right now the county fair is going on and it is pretty hectic around there. I am targeting Sept 30th or Oct 7th as possible dates. I hope to have one of these reserved quickly. Once that happens we can be planning programs (what do you want to do when we get there) and the more help the better!"
